THINGS I HAVE DONE
Unlocking Impact: Creating a Theory of Change
I collaborated with Bristol Parent Carers, a volunteer-led organisation to help them articulate their impact by developing a Theory of Change.
We started by mapping their key services, identifying how their work directly supports their community. By exploring user journeys, we pinpointed the critical touchpoints where individuals engage with the organisation and the short- and long-term effects of this engagement.
The final Theory of Change provided a clear, visual framework that demonstrated the direct link between their efforts and the positive outcomes for their users. This not only strengthened their ability to communicate their impact but also helped them make a stronger case for funding and support.
A Community Canvas: Advocating for Community Infrastructure
I conducted an in-depth assessment of Bristol’s community assets, helping to secure crucial investment in their future.
Using surveys and interviews, I gathered both quantitative and qualitative data to create a persuasive narrative that highlighted the essential role community buildings play in strengthening local communities.
The final report was submitted to Bristol City Council, leading to the establishment of the Community Resilience Fund—a vital initiative that went on to support 55 community and voluntary sector projects.
Maximising digital marketing: Improving sales through data
I worked with Ashwell & Co, an independent business, to boost sales and streamline its email marketing strategy.
By leveraging the client's CRM, I analysed and segmented their database to create highly targeted mailing lists. A/B testing refined email content, design, and layout, leading to higher conversion rates. To expand their customer base, I also integrated user-friendly, data-compliant sign-up forms into their website.
This data-driven approach improved efficiency provided valuable customer insights, and ultimately increased both sales and engagement.
